Brief Description: Wing and empenage attachment completed...
My brother Bernie and I headed to Stoney Creek Airport early this morning to complete the wing attachment. Once all the wing bolts were installed I torqued the bolts while Bernie began the empenage attachment. It was minus 10 degrees Celius in the hangar so we had to stop every so often to warm up our hands so we could still thread the nuts onto the attach bolts. We also took an hour to have a good lunch and warm our hands and feet. After lunch we also installed the fuel tank vent lines between the tank and the fuselage and began the flap and aileron installation. Both lateral push tubes for the aileron control were installed and we started the installation for the longitudinal push tubes for aileron control and the left flap installation was also started.
